About The Artist

Julie Wight is a photographer who lives and works in Chicago, Illinois. Her current work focuses on more solitary and somewhat stark landscapes in the Midwest. She photographs in different qualities of light to help create certain moods in her photographs that vary from soft and sad to crisp and majestic. Her photograph “Birdhouses,” which was taken in Chicago, was nominated in London for the 2007 Black and White Spider Awards. The Black and White Spider Awards is the leading international award honoring excellence in black and white photography.

About the Prints

Each print is printed by the artist on archival fine art gallery paper and is matted with an archival acid-free mat. All prints are giclee prints and are printed with with carbon pigment inks.

Prints are available in two sizes - 11x14 and 8x10. All 11x14 size prints are matted to a 16x20 size and are limited edition prints. These editions are limted to thirty prints and each print is signed and numbered.

All 8x10 size prints are matted to an 11x14 size. The 8x10 size prints are open edition prints and are signed by the artist but are not numbered.
